NWRA Certification Program
For ROLAGS Compliance and ROLAGS Proficiency
This
program has been developed and is administered by the National Windshield
Repair Association (NWRA), the only association in North America
dedicated solely to the needs of windshield repair companies. NWRA
member companies subscribe to the highest levels of professionalism,
safety and ethics. Its educational programming offers a variety
of different certifications. This program deals with compliance
to the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard (ROLAGS).
Certification shows that those certified have successfully completed this course and understand the steps necessary for a company and its individuals to be in compliance with ANSI/NGA R1.1-2007, the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard.
In order to be certified, you must perform a repair before an industry
examiner. NWRA conducts such testing at a variety of sites each
year. In addition, it also recognizes the practical assessments
of a number of windshield repair companies and suppliers.
Current practical assessment administrators (PAA) are:

If you do not see your supplier listed, contact them today and
ask them to apply to be a NWRA PAA.
Certification is valid for two years, and expires on the last day of the quarter in which you became certified. For example, if you became certified in May 2007, that certification is valid until June 30, 2009. If you became certified in December 2007, your certification expires December 31, 2009.
In order to maintain certification, each person must successfully complete 2 continuing education units (CEUs) learning units during the period above and 3 units each year thereafter. If your certification remains current, you do not need to reapply, nor do you need to take a new written or practical test. If your certification lapses, you must start over.
Should you not receiving a satisfactory score, you must wait a minimum of one month before taking the final exam again. You may take the final exam up to three (3) times in the year following your application for certification. After that time, you must re-register.
NWRA certification does not imply endorsement of a particular company, nor does it warrant that work is being done properly. Individuals successfully completing the course had shown their knowledge of what is necessary for ROLAGS compliance and ROLAGS proficiency, according to the ROLAGS Standard and NWRA protocols.
