NWRA board of directors will present the auto glass industry with its Green Glass Initiative and Green Paper. The program will outline how the auto glass industry can use repair and other environmentally friendly practices to make itself a model industry for sustainable business practices.

Insurance Industry Panel

This panel discussion will bring together several major insurance companies and third-party administrators to talk about how best to push clean ethical repair to our mutual customers. Also on the agenda to be discussed will be the insurance community's opinions on the movement towards "flat" pricing being used by several carriers; trends towards rising repair rates; how networks benefit or hamper repair, and other important industry topics.

Automotive Glazing Trends

NWRA conference attendees will be presented with an in-depth 45-minute presentation on the future of automotive glazing. Mark Gold of Solutia Inc. will present attendees with an educational seminar on what trends are appearing on the automotive glazing horizon.

Repair of Laminated Glass Certification

Training Attendees of this seminar will receive all the instruction necessary to prepare for a written version of NWRA's online Repair of Laminated Glass Certification exam. Attendees will then be allowed to take the certification examination free of charge - a $95 value.

If the repair technician passes the written exam, he then will merely need to perform the required practical demonstration of a repair to complete his certification. (NWRA Practical Assessment Administrators will be available on the NACE trade show floor to observe any practical demonstrations of certification applicants.)
